I was a musician in my formative years growing up and enjoyed playing a variety of music (i.e. Jazz, Funk, Fusion, and Disco etc). I started DJing in 1974.  The Blue Ice is the first club I was given an opportunity to play in. Ralph McDaniels was the resident there, and mentored me on the basic of mixing & programming for different crowd situations. My first pair of turntables was the technics B1’s; I later got a pair of SL 5100's. I started hanging out at local bar/clubs & clubs in Queens, Brooklyn, and the Long Island areas. We went on to play at various clubs throughout the city like Encore, Trixx’s and Panorama to name a few.  My early influences are the late Larry Levan, the late Tee Scott, Shep Pettibone, Ted Currier, Tony Humphries and the late Frankie Crocker. I enjoyed listening and dancing to music at the Paradise Garage, Loft, Melons, Red Parrot, Bently’s, Black Box (NJ) and Club Zanzibar (NJ).  I feel if you’re passionate about something, then support it to the fullest! I’ve done mixes for sites like
Garage House Music, Routes in Rhythm, Global-Soul.Com, SammyRockMusic and Gotta Have House
