I started out as a DJ at age 14 in the 70’s. I can remember buying two turntables and mic mixer (no cue) and when GLI came out with a mixer with cue features it was on and poppin. I played at clubs in queens (Blue Ice, Encore) and Brooklyn (Panorama) and many others throughout the N.Y. Tri-State area. I played all types of funky soul music. My professional career in media started after I attended NYIT in Westbury, L.I.
I started out as a DJ and combined my communications studies together to create a legendary TV show ‘Video Music Box’. I enjoy combining TV/Film and music related projects together. I’ve directed/produced over 300 music videos from Wu-Tang to Whitney and consulted on major motion pictures like “Juice” starring “Tupac Shakur”.
Working in the media is great, DJing and hosting events allows me to interact with listeners live and found out what’s hot and what’s not instantly. This helps all my other projects from ‘Video Music Box’ on WNYE Friday nights at 1 AM in Long Island and New York, to my new TV programs in development and HOT97.
I enjoy and I’m looking for:
1. New Music
2. New Artist (all categories, well maybe not country)
3. New Ideas
4. New People
5. New Technology
Hey, HOLLA at the kid and don't forget, say UNCLE!!!!!!!!
